The short answer
Yes. Algo, CyberData and 2N devices speak standard SIP and register to our Asterisk-based hosted PBX. 21 models are listed below with their exact status, plus the gotchas that actually cost people time. If your model is not on the list, it is very likely still fine — send us the number and we will confirm.
This is the category most people do not know exists until they need it, and Algo is Canadian - based in Burnaby, British Columbia - which occasionally matters for procurement. These devices turn the parts of a building that are not a desk into part of the phone system: overhead paging in a warehouse, a bell that rings loud enough to hear over machinery, a visual strobe where a ringer is useless, a speaker in a stairwell, a doorbell that calls the front counter.

Ordinary SIP. We will provision it. We have not bench-tested this exact model, and we say so rather than pretending otherwise.
How we set them up
Each device registers as its own SIP extension. Paging endpoints are then grouped so that dialling one number opens the page across every speaker at once, or across a zone.
Gotchas worth knowing
These are the things that cost real hours when nobody warns you about them.
- An overhead paging adapter is not a speaker. It converts SIP to the analogue amplifier you already own. If there is no existing amplifier and speaker run, that is a separate installation.
- Multicast paging is more efficient than unicast for many speakers at once, but it needs the network switches configured to pass multicast. On a flat consumer-grade network it will silently fail.
- Ringers and strobes in noisy or public spaces are frequently a workplace-safety requirement rather than a convenience. Scope them with whoever owns that policy, not just with IT.
Bringing existing Algo, CyberData and 2N hardware to us
If you already own these, you almost certainly keep them. A handset that is not locked to another provider moves by changing three fields — SIP server, extension, password — which we do as part of setup. We do not sell handsets as a condition of service, we do not rent them to you, and we do not lock them. If you leave us later, the phones are yours and we release them.
Hosted PBX is $99 CAD a month for the phone system and up to 10 extensions, then $8.40 per extension after that. If you would rather own the server outright, we build on-premise systems from $1,500 and the hardware is yours.
